The cement was poured. It was pretty crazy seeing this big cement truck dumping all the cement into this huge hole. Alexa had a blast watching it!! George told us it would probably take until Thursday to set and then the building begins :)

The construction begins

Our construction has finally began. On Tuesday, July 18, 2006 George Link came and moved our deck. It went pretty smoothly, although he did have to cut it in half. He thinks it should still be fine, we may lose 6 inches though. On Wednesday George's worker Charlie came and took off the siding. Today, Friday, the big backhoe arrived at 8am and started digging out the foundation for the new den. Here are some pics.
